If we look around the tech world we will find the trend of cryptocurrency has reached sky high. According to
9JAWIBE 9jawibe and as we all know that Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg taken up a personal resolution to fix its social media platform.
Now as a part of their refreshed advertising policy, the social networking giant, Facebook,
won’t allow advertisements related to cryptocurrencies, ICO (Initial Coin Offerings) and binary trading.
The new policy reads “Ads must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency.
The social network hasn’t mentioned the name of cryptocurrency yet.
However, according to the latest advertising rules,
users can’t promote contents related to crypto coins like Bitcoin, Monero, Litecoin and more. So, the latest policy is“intentionally broad”and it might affect legitimate crypto advertisers. It’s worth to note that Facebook’s tracking system is not as fool-proof as it sounds, so, some ads might manage to slip through the filters.
The new advertisement policy is valid for Facebook, Instagram andAudience Network.
